Racing 4 Kidz Motorsports Closes Out Season
(Three Rivers, MI) The Racing 4 Kidz Motorsports team closed out their 2011 season at the Mottville Speedway this past weekend with the Michigan Indiana Challenge Cup. The team brought two cars to close out the racing season by bringing Rex to race in the FWD's and the new Mini Stock for the racing action.
Eric Frazier drove the FWD to a fourth place finish on Saturday night and almost pulled off the shocking upset on Sunday finishing 2nd behind Todd Roberts. Eric concluded a great season at the Mottville Speedway for the Racing 4 Kidz Motorsports team locking himself into a top 5 in the points standing and picking up one feature win.
The team also brought the new Mini Stock to the Mottville Speedway on Saturday night with Justin Graber behind the wheel making his first appearance in a stock car. Justin did a great job with finishing 6th in the feature with a dead battery causing him to retire from the feature early. Then Sunday evening Caleb Woods made his first appearance behind the wheel of the new car finishing 4th in the feature staying on the lead lap. Caleb worked hard and almost finished 3rd, but still brought a trophy home for the team.
The team is now working on preparing for the off season with the building of new marketing partners for the 2012 season. We also will be starting to tear down our cars in preparation for next season. We will be making several announcements concerning next season in the coming months. There will be some exciting new things coming up next year that will making our new marketing partners proud to be apart of the Racing 4 Kidz Motorsports and Giving Kids Hope, Inc.
The next event for Racing 4 Kidz Motorsports will be the 4th Annual Bad Boy's of Charity Go-Kart Race at Rapid Raceway in Angola. The event is sold out, but we still would like to invite everyone out starting at 8:00pm to watch all of the excitement of the evening watching race car drivers, track officials, and fans battle out to see who has the bragging rights for the next year. All proceeds from the event go to the Racing 4 Kidz Ride Along program. Pizza and pop will be available for participants and a wristband is available for $5 if you are not racing in the event.
